Luke & Lexi’s intimate mountain wedding at Mt. Spokane was actually perfect. The views, the intimate setting, and the love between these two made for the best wedding.
This couple will always hold a special place in my heart.
I have had the privilege of working a bunch of weddings with Luke over the past 2 years- and not to brag, but I think we make a pretty bomb photo/video team.
Luke is such a fun-loving, chill, golden retriever of a dude; he gives the best hugs and has the ability to make everyone around him comfortable. He’s also an insanely talented videographer!
When he and Lexi got engaged and reached out to me to shoot their wedding I was absolutely FLOORED. Meeting and getting to know Lexi felt like the most natural thing in the world. Turns out she’s an ER nurse… (For those of you who don’t know, I’ve worked in EMS and the ER for the past 10 years or so), so almost the entire time we were shooting their engagement session she and I were swapping war stories and speaking medicalese (sorry Luke and Jennifer)!
I know this sounds stupidly poetic, but it was just so cool how the combination of their interests and talents matched with me. They also love Jesus, sooooo…
It must have been meant to be!
Luke and Lexi chose to have their wedding on Mount Spokane where Lexi grew up skiing. The views were breathtaking.
The day started with friends and family getting ready and Luke & Lexi exchanging love notes in the morning. They chose to do a first look and Luke literally could not stop smiling and hugging his bride… it was so wholesome.
Because of the first look, we were able to knock out a lot of the bridal party photos and family photos before the ceremony! But fear not, the ceremony was just as special and emotional.
After the ceremony that had a small reception with their loved ones surrounding them. We ate cake, took dreamy couple portraits, and danced the night away.
If you’re looking for a small and intimate mountain wedding… I cannot recommend Mt. Spokane enough!
